Chiral kits to screen resolving agents

Published: 1-Feb-2003

Chiral kits for screening resolving agents to separate racemic mixtures (acids and bases- alcohols, aldehydes/ketones to follow) by diastereomeric crystallisation have been developed by California based Ychem.

Each disposable kit comes with 48 heat/chemical resistant glass vials equipped with a magnetic stirrer. The rubber-teflon septum open-top lids allow for easy robotic manipulation. Each vial contains a mixture of resolving agent and solvent. All that is needed is the substrate/racemate and method of analysis to determine sp.rotation/ee.
