The dedicated Interphex Hub, showcasing pharmaceutical solutions, will provide a major focus at Total Processing & Packaging 2010, the UK's leading integrated processing and packaging exhibition, which takes place from 25-27 May at the NEC, Birmingham, UK.

The Interphex Hub has been specifically created to meet the needs of both exhibitors and visitors in the pharmaceutical sector by providing a focal point that groups all relevant supply companies together. This will enable visitors to see all the latest innovations and developments and discuss current issues and regulatory requirements.

"We have consulted extensively with the industry in the development of the Interphex Hub," explains Ian Crawford, Group Exhibition Director for Total Processing & Packaging 2010. 'As a strong Reed Exhibitions brand, Interphex presents companies from across the globe with an ideal platform to reach some of the UK's top pharmaceutical businesses, seeking solutions to a wide variety of production challenges."

In addition, the Interphex Hub will feature a dedicated series of seminars, sponsored by Buerkert Fluid Control Systems, which will address the latest issues, trends and challenges for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Speakers will include leading industry figures, and representatives from blue-chip companies, government bodies and pressure groups.

Total Processing & Packaging, which takes place every three years, provides companies with the ideal opportunity to promote their machinery, equipment, materials, packs and services. In 2007 there were 11,109 registered visitors from many blue-chip companies, including AstraZeneca, Novartis Pharmaceutical and GlaxoSmithKline.
