Disks fit to burst

BS&B Safety Systems is introducing the SIGMA EXL reverse buckling bursting disk with a burst pressure range from 1-34.5 barg. Designed for use in gas, liquid or two-phase flow service, the disk is installed with the dome towards the process. At the disk's burst pressure the dome reverses and opens by shearing around a circular score line on the downstream side.

The SIGMA EXL is designed for installation in an SRB-7RS pre-torqued Safety Head disk holder.
