EMA releases advice on exemptions to packaging and labelling rules

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has released guidance explaining how it is possible to sell medicines in the European Union (EU) without following EU labelling and packaging rules, to address severe availability problems. These could have been caused by a lack of authorised medicinal products and shortages of approved medicines.
