ESCO completes sale of two MicroSep businesses

US-based ESCO Technologies has completed the sale of two of its three microfiltration and separations (MicroSep) businesses.


US-based ESCO Technologies has completed the sale of two of its three microfiltration and separations (MicroSep) businesses.

PTI Advanced Filtration, of Oxnard, California, and PTI Technologies, of Sheffield in the UK, were sold to London-based domnick hunter group for US$18m in cash. domnick hunter designs and manufactures filtration, purification and separations equipment for customers worldwide.

The sale of the remaining MicroSep business, PTI SpA, of Milan in Italy, is expected before the end of the current fiscal year.

The proceeds from the sale of the MicroSep businesses will be used for general corporate purposes, ESCO says, including the potential funding of acquisitions.
