Excelsyn makes key engineering appointments

Pharmaceutical and biotechnology services group Excelsyn has made two key appointments in its engineering technology business, based in Newcastle in the UK.

Pharmaceutical and biotechnology services group Excelsyn has made two key appointments in its engineering technology business, based in Newcastle in the UK.

Adrian la Porta joins the company as technology director from Fluor, where he worked on major international projects in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. He will lead the business's technology development and will head up the process engineering consultancy.

David Shepherd joins Excelsyn from Arch Chemicals, where he was UK manufacturing manager. In his new role as operations manager he will oversee all project management, design and construction activities.
