Following his two years in office as chairman of The Filtration Society, Dr Graham Rideal of Whitehouse Scientific has been appointed as the first science correspondent for the organisation.

Although the Filtration Society was founded more than 40 years ago to collate and advance the science and technology of filtration processes, recent years have seen extensive growth, especially in corporate associates. Rideal is a prolific writer on a wide range of filter related topics and his appointment recognises his contribution in extending the science of filtration to a wider international audience.
