Forest CFC-free inhaler approvable

Forest Laboratories' asthma treatment Flunisolide HFA has been given an approvable letter by the FDA. The corticosteroid is formulated with a novel hydrofluoroalkane propellant and the device has a built-in spacer. The approvable letter requested further data, and Forest is preparing this in anticipation of a launch at the end of this year or the beginning of next.
