The global technology firm FPT has expanded its healthcare and life sciences offering with the launch of MediSight, an AI-powered framework designed to help pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and healthcare providers accelerate their digital transformations while navigating increasingly complicated regulatory requirements.
The new platform combines autonomous AI agents, healthcare-specific applications and AI-assisted engineering capabilities to streamline clinical, operational and compliance workflows.
According to FPT, the framework is intended to help organisations transform fragmented healthcare data into structured intelligence, enabling faster decision-making, improved governance and shorter development timelines.
How it works
Built on FPT's FleziPT AI ecosystem and guided by its CASAN AI adoption framework, FTP said that the new MediSight framework is structured around three core components.
Its Healthcare Insight Platform (HIP) provides a cloud-native data foundation that supports widely adopted interoperability standards, including HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA and DICOM, alongside data mapping, de-identification and clinical terminology standardisation.
Meanwhile, MediSight Crew deploys autonomous AI agents for administrative, clinical and compliance tasks, while MediSight Verse delivers applications covering clinical trials, medical imaging, virtual care, patient engagement, documentation, claims administration and healthcare analytics.
For pharmaceutical manufacturers and life sciences organisations, the emphasis on interoperability and regulatory compliance could prove particularly significant as AI adoption continues to expand across R&D, clinical development and manufacturing operations.
The framework has been designed to support healthcare security requirements, including HIPAA, HITRUST r2 and ISO 27001 and can be integrated with existing healthcare systems across major cloud environments.
"The next phase of healthcare innovation demands systems that don't just store data, but actively reason through it," said Chu Canh Chieu, Vice President and Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences at FPT Software.
"MediSight helps healthcare organisations reduce manual effort, improve decision-making speed and scale digital health solutions more efficiently."
By fusing autonomous AI agents with specialised clinical applications, we are helping digital health and pharma enterprises eliminate manual friction, reduce time-to-market for medical software and elevate patient outcomes without compromising on strict regulatory standards.
The launch builds on FPT's nearly two decades of experience serving healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers.
The Vietnam-headquartered technology company, which operates in more than 30 countries and employs more than 54,000 people, has increasingly positioned itself as an AI-first organisation, with healthcare and life sciences representing a strategic growth area for it.
