G&A Healthcare Packaging (G&A), provider of printed flexible packaging to the pharmaceutical industry, is to be renamed Constantia Sittingbourne Ltd as part of a worldwide rebranding exercise by its parent company.

G&A, based in Kent, UK, has been a subsidiary of the Constantia Packaging Group since 2001. The Group's business portfolio has grown considerably in recent years and rebranding exercise will enable customers to easily recognise companies within the Group and to appreciate the extent of the Group's capabilities and resource, Constantia says.

The name change for G&A is being implemented over the next few months, and will be concluded in late 2006.

'We are delighted that the business name will change to align us with the strength of the Constantia Group name throughout the world,' G&A's managing director Steve Godwin said.

'The new name reinforces the increasingly strong position of the Constantia Group and enables us to benefit from membership of a major global resource and to offer our customers a wide range of additional products and services.'

Godwin added: 'During this period we will be implementing the Constantia Group's FlexMax Application which is based on Microsoft's Axapta.

'The introduction of this advanced system into our business will enable us to support our customers' needs further in the future.'
