At the ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) Conference and Exhibition in Singapore from August 23-25, 2023, GEA will present key components for liquid pharmaceutical processing. The ISPE Singapore Conference & Exhibition is one of the largest and most important trade shows for the pharmaceutical industry in Singapore.

In addition to discussions with GEA experts, the GEA kytero single-use pharma separator and the GEA PandaPLUS laboratory homogeniser will be the focus of GEA's trade show presence in Southeast Asia. GEA expects to attract a large number of visitors interested in its technologies for the biopharmaceutical industry over the three days at the Congress Center.

Debut for GEA's kytero in Southeast Asia

For the first time, the kytero single-use pharma separator will be presented to the public at a trade show in Southeast Asia. The GEA kytero single-use separator is designed for the recovery of fermentation solutions and cell cultures and features GEA's proven disk stack technology for maximum yield, high separation efficiency and gentle product handling.

The GEA kytero combines the high performance of the renowned GEA stainless steel pharma centrifuges with the features offered by single-use processing. It does not require SIP/CIP (clean-in-place/sterilization-in-place), nor buffer tanks, WFI or flush media and is batch-ready within five minutes. The mobile plug & produce unit also fits into any clean room.

GEA kytero is in high demand for cell harvesting and gene therapy processes, as well as for pilot plants, university laboratories, in R&D environments and small-scale production. kytero significantly reduces the dependency on filtration.

Designed for continuous operation at high pressure, the GEA PandaPLUS Laboratory Homogeniser is the perfect unit for high-pressure nanoparticle processing and cell disruption in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and biotechnology industries. In its standard configuration, it features a touch panel for easy control of all machine functions and is suitable for CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (sterilisation-in-place). Its compact design allows for easy installation, use and maintenance.
