The pharmaceutical and food sectors are both going through a period of significant change and the cross-fertilisation of technologies, particularly hygienic equipment design and sterilisation techniques, will be beneficial to both sectors.

At Total Processing & Packaging 2004 (29 March to 1 April) , the Total Pharma Centre of Excellence will host a seminar programme, Pharma and Food Convergence and the Opportunity to Learn, that will focus on the areas of common interest associated with processing and packaging, and utilise the theme of cross industry learning to deliver and discuss where each industry might learn from the other.
