Harlan Laboratories Contract Research Services has expanded its capabilities in general toxicology and inhalation to support the chemicals, agrochemicals and pharmaceutical sectors with the arrival of Brian Anderson as Manager of Safety Assessment, Harlan Laboratories Switzerland.
Anderson has worked as a senior toxicologist and Study Director in the CRO industry for more than 28 years, specialising in inhalation, and brings with him a successful track record in managing GLP toxicology teams. Prior to Harlan CRS, he was a Study Director at Life Science Research and undertook a number of senior roles at CRL, Edinburgh.
As well as his involvement in a number of inhalation and intranasal studies, including all aspects of aerosol science, Anderson has been a major contributor to the development of rodent, dog and primate inhalation facilities. In addition, he has provided scientific expertise for cross-discipline projects such as reprotoxicology via the inhaled route and has developed particular expertise in inhalation exposure for neonatal/juvenile investigations in dogs. He has also contributed to several international document review panels for OECD.
