The silicone tubing from Advantapure is designed to increase flow rates to reduce processing time. AdvantaSil high pressure tubing offers burst pressures that are more than triple those of standard silicone transfer tubing.
This tubing is ideal for single-use applications such as TFF, virus filtration, inline integrity testing of filtration assemblies and high volume fluid transfer. It is flexible and translucent, to allow easy viewing of process fluids.
Extruded from USP Class VI, platinum-cured silicone, AdvantaSil high pressure tubing is not only limited to disposable applications.
It is a durable product that offers full vacuum capabilities on most sizes and the tubing handles short run peristaltic pump applications requiring 30 psi back pressure. Because it does not contain braid reinforcement, particulate shedding that can occur when braided hose is cut is eliminated.
AdvantaSil high pressure silicone tubing operates with temperatures ranging from -65–400°F (-53.9–204.4°C). It is available with validated sterility assurance and is undergoing full BPOG standardised extractables testing. The tubing is made in the US; distributors are located worldwide.
