The exhibition provided an opportunity for I Holland to meet many existing and prospective clients from across the region, introduce them to the innovative IH-TMS Tool Management System and its latest tool coating solutions.
IH-TMS was developed to ensure the proactive monitoring of tool rotations, tooling inventory and maintenance. It also has the capability to archive tool images and drawings.
Alex Bunting, Marketing Manager at I Holland, said: “Interphex was the perfect opportunity to present the latest updates and enhancements to the I Holland portfolio. We showcased the IH-TMS, which has had a great launch and is being adopted by pharmaceutical companies around the world.
“We also exhibited our range of tool coatings including the new PharmaCote ECxtra, which is one of the most advanced tool coatings on the market today. It has much better anti-stick and corrosion resistant properties than traditional Hard Chromium and the process, in which it is applied to the tooling does not have the same environmental and worker safety implications. In turn, this also means there are no harmful waste products unlike those from Hard Chromium, which are beginning to fall under regulatory restraints."
The 21-CFR part 11 compliant system keeps a complete audit trail and record of tablet quantities by number of tablets, work order or batch information. The IH-TMS is easy to use with a simple touch screen interface that alerts the user if there is over compression, tooling replacements or scheduled maintenance required.
The software has been specifically developed to maintain efficient, well organised and in depth monitoring of tablet production, an extremely important procedure in pharmaceutical tablet manufacture.
