inVentiv Clinical sets up in Europe
Provider of clinical outsourcing services, inVentiv Clinical Solutions, is expanding operations outside North America with a new office in Europe. The new location will be in Madrid, Spain, with the plan to expand operations to other European countries, including the emerging Eastern European region.

The new location will be in Madrid, Spain, with the plan to expand operations to other European countries, including the emerging Eastern European region.
InVentiv Clinical's European operations will be led by Dr Fernando Martinez, recently appointed as director of clinical operations in Europe. He will be responsible for oversight of all European projects conducted by inVentiv Clinical.
"We are excited to take this next step along the path to globalisation, adding this new European location to our already established operations in India and Latin America," said inVentiv Clinical's president and ceo Mike Hlinak.
The company provides a range of clinical trial management and monitoring, data management and biostatistics solutions, medical writing, regulatory consulting and liaison services and patient and investigator recruitment. These services are complemented by traditional clinical staffing capabilities through staffing divisions, MedFocus and Smith Hanley Consulting Group.
