Jones, MD, PhD, founder of The Degge Group, Ltd, a PharmaLex company, at a special event on 29 August 2017, during the 33rd ICPE.
ISPE honours individuals with special accomplishments in the field of pharmacoepidemiology.
This award is only given in exceptional circumstances, with only two Honorary Lifetime Fellowships having been bestowed to date.
Dr Jones joins an elite group, receiving her award for her lifetime productivity in the field and for her pioneering role in the Society.
She has been a member of ICPE since its inception 33 years ago. During this time, she has led ISPE as a Fellow, past President, former member of Board of Directors, Vice President Finance, keynote speaker, member of Special Interest Groups, workshop teacher, session chair, coauthor for ISPE-sponsored publications, and coined the modern term “medical products epidemiology.”

“I have spent many years working in the field of pharmacoepidemiology, so to be honoured by such a significant organisation is truly humbling,” she added.
