L.B. Bohle presented its new generation of machines to great acclaim at the Interpack trade fair in May of this year and now the management of the medium-sized technology company has received the good news that all three new products have been nominated for a design award.
"At Interpack, we launched our new machine generation with the BFC tablet coater, the BRC dry granulator and the QbCon 1, a continuous granulator and dryer for research and development," said MD Thorsten Wesselmann. "Our new machines have not only been technically optimised but have also been redesigned in a groundbreaking industrial design."
With the support of industrial designers, the machines were redesigned from the ground up. From now on, large glass surfaces and foil elements determine the external appearance. User-friendliness and safety have also been improved.
"We are proud to say that our machines now stand out from the competition in terms of their appearance," said Wesselmann. "The response so far, often accompanied by astonished looks, has been consistently positive, and we are receiving feedback that the new developments were exactly the right decision."
The first BFC tablet coater of the new series is currently being installed at Rottendorf Pharma in Ennigerloh, Germany, and L.B. Bohle would certainly be pleased to receive the Design Award there as well.
