Katie Roberts, of Knights Templar School in Hertfordshire, was the lucky winner of the 'Win a Computer' competition organised by the Chemical Industries Association (CIA). She receives £150 in computer vouchers for herself and £1,000 worth of computer equipment for her school. Three runners-up each receive £50 vouchers for themselves and £500 worth of equipment for their schools.
The competition, launched on the CIA's chemical industry website was designed to give students an incentive to learn about and understand the important role the chemical industry plays in enhancing our quality of life, the CIA said.
