Low-odour, fast drying black inks
Linx Printing Technologies, of Cambridgeshire in the UK, has launched two black inks that are said to be particularly suitable for pharmaceutical applications.
Linx black ultra-fast drying 1405 ink is MEK-free, has good adhesive qualities and can be used on a wide range of substrates, including paper and board, metal, glass and many plastics. The company says it is ideal for use on high-speed lines where products may come into contact with each other soon after printing.
Linx black ethanol 2035 ink has a low drop spread formulation and offers good quality print and intense colour on porous and nonporous substrates. Its low-odour formulation means it is suitable for the pharmaceutical sector in cleanroom and closed environments.
