Dr Susanne Keitel, Director of the EDQM, explains how the Ph. Eur. continues to meet the challenges of today’s global environment

Compared with the 8th edition, more than half of the 9th edition is new or revised, reflecting the latest developments in a truly globalised, dynamic and ever-changing pharmaceutical world.

The EDQM has produced a video clip to publicise the publication in the form of an interview with EDQM Director Susanne Keitel.

Dr Keitel, Director of the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), Council of Europe, explains how the European Pharmacopoeia continues to meet the challenges of today’s globalised environment for pharmaceuticals.
