Monitoring ambient dust

Quantitech introduces Junior, a low-cost field monitor for ambient dust, capable of providing precise results for occupational or environmental real-time readings, such as inhalable, thoracic and respirable PM-10 and PM2.5.

Features include laser technology combined with fine optical glass lenses for the highest resolution, a wide measuring range in micrograms, continuous sample air flow, a diagnostic system with performance control and presettable alarms.

The instrument can be controlled manually or through a remote PC using GRIMM Windows-based software. Results are displayed on the LCD every six seconds as mass, automatically tagged with time, data and location. These data sets are stored internally and can then be transferred to a PC or printer.
