MY Holdings' healthcare division, the newly acquired European subsidiary of South African packaging giant Nampak, has achieved ISO9001-2000 and PS9000-2001 accreditation across all its operating sites.
ISO9001-2000 is the new standard for a Quality Management System, while PS9000-2001 is the latest edition of the Pharmaceutical Code of Practice, which further enhances security, quality and GMP in pharmaceutical packaging manufacture.
Rather than take a modular approach, MY decided to move to the new standard in one group-wide audit process across all product groups, including cartons, labels and leaflets.
