Stefan Borgas has been appointed the new ceo of Swiss life sciences company Lonza Group.

Stefan Borgas has been appointed the new ceo of Swiss life sciences company Lonza Group.

He joins Lonza after 15 years with BASF Group, which included postings in Ireland, China, the US and Germany. Since 2001 he has held regional general management responsibilities leading BASF's fine chemical activities, first for the EMEA region and subsequently for the North American business, based in New Jersey.
