Malvern Instruments will have two standsst Achema, B43-C44 in hall 5.1 focusing on analysis in the laboratory and stand H41in hall 5.0 for the process sector.
New for the laboratory are the Kinexus rotational rheometer, and the Zetasizer APS and Zetasizer µV particle characterisation systems. There is a new application for the Morphologi G3, and a new photodiode array detector for the Viscotek TDAmax gel permeation chromatography system.
On the process stand, visitors will be able to take tours of Insitec particle sizing systems using new three-dimensional interactive electronic simulations.
Kinexus is a rotational rheometer platform incorporating innovations in sample preparation and loading, through measurement set-up and operation, to data analysis and reporting.
The new dynamic light scattering system, Zetasizer APS automates size measurements of samples in 96- or 384-well microplates, while the Zetasizer µV is an advanced light scattering system specifically for characterisation of proteins and biomolecules.
The Morphologi G3 particle characterisation system (shown below left) now has the capability to be used for automated enumeration and size classification of foreign particulate matter collected on a filter.
