³The Capillary Boy is the first X-ray accessory out of the cooperation between HUBER Diffraktionstechnik and AJK Analytical Services. Many applications within X-ray diffraction require powdered materials to be mounted on the diffractometer in a glass capillary. The diameter of these capillary tubes is typically in the order of 0.1 to 1.0 mm. Filling these capillaries with sufficient powder for subsequent measurements used to be a tedious and time consuming task. The Capillary Boy addresses this problem in a simple yet effective way.
