With the popularity of freeze drying continuing to rise across the pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, nutraceutical & food processing industries to name a few, so the need for training in the technology also increases.
Biopharma Group has been able to collaborate with University College London (UCL) and the University of Limerick via PMTC to offer some additional training course options on March 31st and June 3rd – 5thth, 2020 respectively.
At UCL’s Biochemical Engineering site in London, you’ll be able to attend a 1 day ‘Freeze Drying & Hands-on Worksop’ for only £595 which will cover the fundamentals of freeze drying with presentations by Dr. Kevin Ward, Dr. Paul Dalby (UCL) & Dr. Lourdes Velez Suberie (UCL) as well as an introduction by SP Scientific’s Leslie Mather to the LyoStar3, ControLyo and SMART Technology along with demonstrations Biopharma’s analytical instruments, Lyostat & Lyotherm. At University of Limerick via PMTC, there will be the option to attend either a 1 day ‘Lyo in a Day’ theoretical introduction to the technology for €330 (student rate is €110) OR a 3 day seminar which will include keynote speaker slots along with a 2 day lab & classroom based ‘Fundamentals of Lyophilisation – Best Practices & Applications’ following on from the ‘Lyo in a Day’ introduction day. The 3 day combined seminar will be available for the fantastic price of €1995 including a dinner for attendees of the full 3 day event.
