DS Smith Plastics Cool Logistics celebrates international accreditation achievement
Prestigious OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) accreditation demonstrates commitment to having a robust health and safety management system in place
In recognition of its commitment to health and safety, DS Smith Plastics Cool Logistics is celebrating an industry accolade. The UK manufacturer of temperature-controlled packaging solutions has proved its dedication to health and safety and secured the prestigious OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) accreditation.
This internationally recognised standard demonstrates the company’s commitment to having a robust health and safety management system in place, which manages operational health and safety risks and ultimately improves performance.
Cool Logistics is the first site within the DS Smith Plastics network to receive this accreditation and it is the second success story for the business, which also became ISO 9001:2008 (quality) and ISO 14001:2004 (environmental) certified earlier this year.
