Evonik gains EXCiPACT certification

Fifth German excipients manufacturer to meet standard


EXCiPACT, a voluntary international certification scheme designed and developed to assure cGMP and cGDP standards are being used in the manufacture and supply of pharmaceutical excipients, says Evonik Industries of Darmstadt, Germany, has received an EXCiPACT Certificate from mdc, Stuttgart, Germany, one of the organisation’s internationally-recognised Certification Bodies.

The Certificate demonstrates that this Evonik site manufactures pharmaceutical excipients according to the EXCiPACT Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certification Standard.

This is the fifth German site to receive Certification. The other Certified sites are in Canada, France, The Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
