Finesse Solutions offers G3Lite SmartController for single-use bioreactors
Brings the benefits of industrial automation reliability and scalability in affordable package
Finesse Solutions, a US-based manufacturer of measurement and control solutions for life sciences process applications, has extended its G3 family with the addition of G3Lite SmartControllers for upstream cell culture and fermentation.
The G3Lite is a standalone controller for single-use bioreactors ranging from 50L to 2,000L. It is an OEM product that can be adapted to most single-use bioreactors in the market. The G3Lite is initially available for Millipore CellReady and Thermo Scientific HyPerformaTK single-use bioreactors.
The Santa Clara, CA-located company says the G3Lite leverages its SmartParts components to bring the benefits of industrial automation reliability and scalability in an affordable package. It features a standard set of four peristaltic SmartPumps as well as SmartTransmitters for TruFluor or electrochemical sensors. Up to six gases can be controlled using SmartMFCs in a compact gas manifold.
