Fulton appoints new management team

Restructures Bristol-based business

Fulton was established in Bristol, UK in 1966 to manufacture vertical tubeless steam boilers. Today the company is part of Fulton Inc, a global manufacturer of steam, hot water and thermal fluid heat transfer systems with production facilities in the UK, US and China.

Following the retirement of the UK firm’s sales and marketing and technical directors, Fulton Inc has restructured the business and appointed Paul Richards as managing director and Carl Knight as UK and European sales and marketing manager.

Richards previously worked for Solatron, while Knight joins Fulton from Spirax Sarco.

Richards said: ‘The changes haven’t just stopped with management appointments. We have also restructured and changed the trading name from Fulton Boiler Works (GB) to Fulton, as we feel it better reflects the business and markets we now operate in.’

Once just a steam boiler manufacturer, Fulton now specialises in the design and manufacture of energy efficient products and ready-to-ship skid mounted and fully packaged boiler plant rooms, he added.

‘We put great emphasis on providing sales and application advice and a full commissioning and after sales service to a growing customer base in hospital and healthcare facilities, food and beverage processing, laundries and other applications.’

Fulton recently introduced of a VMP vertical tubeless boiler, ModSync boiler sequencing system and TDS energy recovery system.
