Matcon, a material processing solutions specialist based in Evesham in the UK, has appointed Dave Cooper as Managing Director. He has replaced Charles Lee who has decided to step down to spend more time with his family.
Cooper joined the company in 2002, working first in engineering, then sales and business development, before joining the senior management team as Operations Director in September 2008.
The company says Cooper has been at the heart of its management and strategic development for several years and his customer focus, technical skills, work ethic and understanding of the business provide the perfect foundation from which to take it forward.
Lee has been with Matcon since 1991, working in sales, engineering and general management before becoming Managing Director in 1997. He will remain on the senior management team as Executive Director, giving the company the continued benefit of his knowledge and experience.
