Mueller Industries has unveiled its new $3.83 million warehousing and distribution operation facility in Fulton, predicted to bring 60 new jobs to the Mississippi area.
The site was selected based on its Northeastern Mississippi location, which combines proximity to well-integrated road and airline transportation hubs. Mueller has operated in the region since the late 1960s.
Mueller manufactures and distributes HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial components. The new 74,000 ft2 distribution facility sits adjacent to its manufacturing plant.
The Mississippi Development Authority and Itawamba County provided financial assistance in getting the site prepared.
The new jobs will bring total employment at the Fulton location to 615 workers. Mueller Industries is based out of Memphis and boasts 26 locations across the US and seven international sites in Canada, Mexico, the UK, and China.
