Univar, a specialist in the application and safe, efficient handling of chemicals and ingredients, has appointed Jean-Philippe Brault as environment manager, EMEA.

ERT, a provider of centralised ECG, ePRO and other services to the biopharma-ceutical, medical device and related industries, has appointed Miki Stevens as associate director of business development in Japan. Stevens will work with ERT's Japanese partner Site Support Institute.

Huntingdon, UK-based Cellexus, a supplier of disposable bioreactors, has appointed Dr Sandy Primrose as its chairman. Primrose succeeds Kevin Borrett, who is also standing down as a director from Cellexus Limited and Cellexus Inc.

MorphoSys has appointed Dr Lisa Rojkjaer as vice president and head of clinical development. She joins MorphoSys from Novartis Pharma where she was most recently head of medical affairs - haematology, Europe.

The Nanotechnology Knowledge Transfer Network (NanoKTN), a UK knowledge-based network for micro and nano-technologies, has a new theme manager for manufacturing and processing in Dr Barry Park, who was previously coo of Oxonica.

The Drug Information Association (DIA) has named Paul Pomerantz as its worldwide executive director. He will move from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) on 1 December.

CIT (Centre International de Toxicologie), a leading European non-clinical CRO, has named Sophie Baratte as managing director. Former chairman and ceo Dr Jean-Francois Le Bigot becomes executive president of CIT and of its holding company Applied Biology Company.

PharmaVentures, of Oxford, UK, has appointed Nikki Watkins as head of the product and portfolio strategy practice of corporate advisory.
