Pharma Packaging develops mill

Pharma Packaging Systems, of Stratford Upon Avon, UK, has been appointed as exclusive agent for Borgo Costruzioni, and has launched the Pharma Nano-particle Mill.The addition of the Borgo range enables Pharma Packaging Systems to supply complete integrated turn-key packaging lines to the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets.

Borgo manufactures a complete range of bottle cleaners, liquid fillers, cappers and labellers suitable for a wide cross section of industry and speed requirements. The range will complement the tablet counting systems and bottle unscramblers manufactured by the Pharma Packaging business.

Manufactured in the UK, the Nano-Particle mill has been developed in partnership with one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and is specifically designed to meet the exacting regulatory and GMP requirements of the industry.

The mill distributes fine particles of chemicals homogeneously in a liquid medium and is capable of producing finished particle sizes of 0.5µm. Standard systems include a bench top laboratory system and a twin chamber production system; however, accurate scale-up allows bespoke solutions to be supplied. The mill is designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards.
