Rexam Pharma has been certified to ISO 15378 at its production sites in Neuenburg, Germany and La VerpilliEre, France.
This new standard is aimed at pharmaceutical primary packaging manufacturers and combines ISO 9001 with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the first time.
Rexam Pharma specialises in rigid plastic packaging, drug delivery systems and medical devices for pharmaceutical, medical and biotechnology companies.
"This certification guarantees to our customers that we meet the most stringent regulated market requirements. This is a further step we crossed successfully," said Marc Haemel, md of Rexam Pharma.
