Schott has appointed Christophe Muguet as vice president of its global syringe business, based in St Gallen, Switzerland.
Muguet now leads the global syringe business activities of Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging and is responsible for business development, product management, research and development and operations.
He has joined Schott from Becton Dickinson, where he was vice president of industrial operations, which included responsibility for global operations of the company’s pharmaceutical systems business unit with six production sites in France, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, UK and the US.
Prior to this, Muguet held several positions at Becton Dickinson in the fields of supply chain, IT and planning. Altogether, he spent 17 years at the US-based medical technology company.
Before joining Becton Dickinson, Muguet worked in the fields of procurement, production and supply chain at GlaxoSmithKline and Serono.
