UK company Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS) has launched a security label specifically developed to survive -80°C and maintain sample security.

The labels ensure contents remain secure and intact whether from the point of collection to the sample analysis stage or during transportation and distribution.

The new CILS 8200V/HT label developed for the medical/laboratory industry provides instant and clear indication that samples have been tampered with by displaying a 'VOID' pattern if the label is removed. The material provides instant security with no adhesive curing time.
