STERIS has added the Reliance 300XLS laboratory glassware washer to its line of laboratory glassware and plasticware washing systems.
This new machine will help customers better address their automated washing needs, particularly since there is increasing pressure to reduce footprint and operational costs, the firm said.
'Many of our customers have very limited floor space and require energy-efficient equipment that can keep up with the productivity requirement of busy modern laboratories,’' said Olivier Van Houtte, Product Manager at STERIS Life Sciences.
'Leveraging 50 years of experience in designing washing systems and conducting extensive performance tests, we developed a product that uses 40% less square feet of floor space than our 400XLS laboratory glassware washer.'
The Reliance 300XLS offers a colour touch screen microprocessor control system and several pre-set, user-definable cycles to accommodate the various soil conditions encountered in typical laboratories.
The four-level guiding rail system, combined with a variety of loading accessories, also provides all the necessary flexibility required to simultaneously process small and large pieces of glassware, thus maximising the use of the wash chamber.
