Data shows that STERIS BPS materials generate a fraction of the particles generated by cellulose based products

Reducing particulate contamination in aseptic manufacturing is critical to patient safety. Recent FDA observations have identified cellulose based sterilisation wrapping as a source of product contamination. Draft EU Annex 1 points out that material that may introduce particulate into a cleanroom should be minimised.

STERIS Barrier Product Solutions (BPS) sterilisation wrapping is a superior alternative to cellulose based steam sterilisation pouches, bags and wrappings. Data shows that STERIS BPS materials generate a fraction of the particles generated by cellulose based products.
