Swagelok acquires RHPS
US developer of fluid systems and services expands offering for customers worldwide
Swagelok, a US developer of fluid systems, has acquired RHPS of The Netherlands, broadening its products and services for fluid system technology customers worldwide.
RHPS, based in Nieuw Vennep, manufactures high-quality pressure regulator products used mostly in biopharmaceutical and other applications. Financial details have not been disclosed.
‘We think the two cultures are a natural fit and have similar values,’ said Arthur Anton, chief executive of Swagelok.
‘The RHPS acquisition allows us to offer a more robust regulator portfolio,’ he added.
Headquartered in Solon, Ohio, Swagelok’s portfolio includes products, assemblies, and services for the research, instrumentation and pharmaceutical industries, among others. Its manufacturing, research, technical support, and distribution facilities support a global network of more than 200 authorised sales and service centres in 57 countries.
