Umicore expands North American presence
Sets up Business Development team to grow sales in the region
Phillip Chalabi will lead the team as director, business development North America. Prior to joining the firm, Chalabi was vp of business development for Solvias and responsible for developing Solvias’ catalysis products business in the US.
Don Zeng and Eric Frueh will also join the team and report to Chalabi. Zeng joins Umicore from Heraeus where he was sales and marketing manager for the Americas and Asian market. Freuh has spent more than 24 years at Umicore Precious Metals Chemistry, including the last eight years as sales manager in the US, and expands its responsibilities by joining the team.
