Univar enters into European relationship with Innophos

Dutch company Univar Pharma Ingredients has added Innophos" full range of pharmaceutical excipients to its European portfolio. The new direct relationship with Innophos was launched officially at CPhI Worldwide in Milan.


Dutch company Univar Pharma Ingredients has added Innophos" full range of pharmaceutical excipients to its European portfolio. The new direct relationship with Innophos was launched officially at CPhI Worldwide in Milan.

Univar Pharma Ingredients will sell and market Innophos" full range of ingredients, which includes widely used calcium phosphates: di- and tri-calcium phosphate powders under the CALIPHARM brand and the granular products, Di-TAB, A-TAB and Tri-TAB. These products used as a robust tablet filler or potent source of calcium by many pharmaceutical formulators.

The Innophos plant in Chicago Heights, Illinois, US, is the largest single manufacturing facility for speciality calcium phosphate products in the world and supplies pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers across the globe.

"Our aim is to guarantee our customers can easily access their products locally in Europe and be confident that the quality of the supply chain matches or even exceeds their regulatory requirements."
