Watson-Marlow Bredel, a world leader in peristaltic pump technology is showcasing its full range of OEM pumps at this year's Medical Device Technology Exhibition.

It will be showing the 400 series OEM pumps, and the company's own unique platinum-cured, laser etched silicone tubing, Pumpsil.

Designed specifically for low and medium flow applications, the 400 series offers contamination-free handling in clinical, medical and dispensing applications through to laboratory and diagnostic environments. Users can opt for a standard 400 series product, or one that's customised to meet their design or production requirements. These instrument-quality pumps have a flow range of 0.2 µl/min to 2l/min and are also self-priming, dry-running, reversible and do not require valves.

Pumpsil, Watson-Marlow's new platinum-cured silicone tubing, offers accurate and reliable pumping of sensitive fluids without the risk of leaching or contamination. Pumpsil is laser etched from end to end to ensure full traceability where process validation is required. Users also benefit from excellent flow stability for accurate dispensing and an ultra smooth bore to control bacterial growth. Pumpsil tubing is available in bores from 0.5mm to 25.7mm, and can be customised to meet specific customer requirements.
