MAINTEC returns to Birmingham's NEC in March and promises to offer pharmaceutical plant managers the latest technology and equipment to achieve cost-savings and efficiency gains.

The show, organised by easyFairs and now in its 34th year, is dedicated to asset management and condition monitoring.

But in addition to hazard detection and preventative maintenance systems, this year's event (17-19 March) also embraces suppliers of a wide range of mechanical equipment, lubricants, buildings and facilities management, and energy efficient products.

Manufacturing and process industries are running ever-leaner operations, and maintenance and asset management professionals face increasing pressure to find innovative technologies and solutions that not only reduce costs but drive greater value.

The 2009 show will include the Maintec Summit featuring management and technical presentations, including detailed case studies, from leaders in the maintenance and asset management fields.

Topics will include: Cost Reduction, Condition Monitoring, Energy Efficiency, Buildings and Plant Maintenance, and Health & Safety across sectors ranging from pharmaceutical and food and drink to automotive and petrochemicals.
