Abcam to distribute Tepnel's diagnostic and research products
UK-based international molecular diagnostics and research services company Tepnel has signed a two-year global distribution agreement with one of the world's largest online supplier of antibodies.
UK-based international molecular diagnostics and research services company Tepnel has signed a two-year global distribution agreement with one of the world's largest online supplier of antibodies.
The non-exclusive agreement with US company Abcam covers the worldwide distribution of Tepnel's Diaclone range of diagnostic and research products and includes a guaranteed annual minimum in sales. The move strengthens Tepnel's global reach through ongoing access to a broad and growing range of customers from both academia and industry.
Dr Allan Brown, managing director of Tepnel Research Products & Services, said: "The continuing arrangement with Abcam is of strategic importance to Tepnel. Key to the success of our Diaclone product range is rapid market access, particularly for our newly developed products. Abcam's strong market presence ensures that our products reach the broadest possible audience."
Tepnel will continue to sell direct to customers in France, UK & the USA, and through its established distributor network.
The Diaclone range includes products covering the fields of cytokines, and cytokine receptors, adhesion, apoptosis and CD antigens. All Diaclone products are manufactured according to ISO9001:2000 guidelines.
