ADM's healthy options

ADM, one of the world's leading suppliers of healthful ingredients, has introduced Controlled Delivery Technology (CDT), licensed to ADM by Nutraceutix. Designed for use in the manufacture of ingredients for dietary supplements, CDT offers a system capable of releasing ingredients in a controlled manner over a predetermined time period during digestion. Novasoy Daily Dose is the first ADM product to be developed and marketed using this technology. For use in once-a-day supplements, it provides a consistent, steady delivery of soya isoflavones over a 12- or 24-hour period.

ADM's Novasoy soya isoflavones are made from IP non-GM beans, under carefully controlled conditions that do not disrupt the natural profiles and ratios of the isoflavones found in soya beans. Since it is a concentrated material, the product provides a rich source of the two most abundant isoflavones present in soya: genistin and daidzin. ADM has extended the range to include 20% and 70% soya isoflavone concentrations to complement the 40% concentration already available.

In addition to Novasoy soya isoflavones, ADM also produces Decanox, mixed tocopherols, phytosterols and natural-source vitamin E. The natural-source vitamin E range includes E 700D, a versatile and highly stable cold water-dispersible form of d-alpha-tocopheryl acetate suitable for incorporation into beverages and other water-based food applications. Vitamin E 700D also has excellent tabletting properties and is recommended for use in multivitamin supplements and chewable tablets.
