Aesica, a leading supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), has appointed Anthony Higham as operations director. Anthony joins the company from GlaxoSmithKline where he was a divisional technical head within global manufacturing & supply.
Anthony has more than 20 years global experience in the pharmaceutical industry across a range of disciplines including engineering, logistics, operations management and consultancy.
Higham will be responsible for operations across the company's three manufacturing sites in Northumberland, Enfield and Queenborough in the UK. The sites provide primary and secondary manufacturing capabilities and supply many of the world's top ten pharmaceutical companies, emerging life science companies and generic manufacturers.
