Applied Weighing, the UK manufacturer of load cells and weighing systems, has doubled the size of its manufacturing facility in Reading to keep pace with increasing global demand.


Applied Weighing, the UK manufacturer of load cells and weighing systems, has doubled the size of its manufacturing facility in Reading to keep pace with increasing global demand.

The new facility at Reading was acquired following the launch of a number of new products, including a load cell and weighing assembly range called the Clevermount.

Designed for easy installation to provide an accurate weighing system for vessels, tanks and hoppers in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, the load cell can be quickly inserted or removed without the need to jack or support the vessel. The success of the Clevermount range and other recent new products such as the 920i weight controller - one of a range of intelligent weight instruments, has encouraged the company to extend its r&d and manufacturing facilities.
