Archives get spread-sheet treatment

DataManager is an advanced analysis tool that provides graphical presentation, automatic validation and spreadsheet-style formatting of archived process data files. It is being launched by ABB as part of the development of the company's ScreenMaster 2000 videographic process recorder.

ScreenMaster 2000 provides a migration path from paper charts to all-electronic recording. Now designed as an add-in to Microsoft Excel, ABB's DataManager completes the solution by taking the hassle out of importing ScreenMaster's archived data files on to a PC spreadsheet.
